| Early
season float trips on streams in South Central Alaska which
generally have first open and clear waters for fishing. Streams
in this area provide biggest and earliest runs of King Salmon,
and average much larger fish than interior streams. Large numbers
of migrating King Salmon (to 65 pounds) provide the optimum
possibilities for success. Big Rainbows and feisty Grayling
to 3 pounds with action very good for both species generally
throughout the trip. Scenic views of Alaska Mountain Range and
Mt. McKinley during time when Alaska landscape is exploding
with new and refreshing growth of summer. Remote, scenic and
excellent fishing with usually the driest and most comfortable
weather during these trips. Moose, bear, eagles and waterfowl
along stream corridors provide photographic opportunities.
