Experience the thrill of king salmon fishing on the Deshka River, a premier destination in southcentral Alaska. When open, the Deshka offers some of the best opportunities for catching king salmon. Unlike the Kenai, where you might wait all day for a bite, our Deshka River trips are action-packed. In 2022, our guests averaged an impressive three king salmon catches per person, per trip, with a record-breaking day of 57 king salmon brought to the net!

While this adventure is strictly catch and release, the excitement doesn't diminish. You'll master a variety of fishing techniques, from casting and retrieving plugs and spinners to power trolling, back trolling, back bouncing, and even fly fishing.
